KEAHANA means sharp/fast curve. The KEAHANA technology has been researched and developed since 1996. Throughout the years KEAHANA developed a “magical” resin, which combined with EPS foam (98% air and 2% raw material) allows the production of a surfboard that makes you feel like you are “flying” on water.

Surfboard Design Details

The KEAHANA COMET generates more speed, projection, and maneuver recovery by utiliazing state-of-the-art technology created by the KEAHANA manufacturing process.

This round-tail, high-performance quad is Von Sol’s answer to today’s modern high-performance shortboard.

The Comet’s wider tail and radical concaves provide the ever- present and unmistakeable built-in speed of this design.

This board is all about high performance.

The combination of pulled-in nose, subtle, yet continuous rocker, deeeep single-to-double concave, hard rail from ahead of the fins through the tail, and a bit of added nose flip creates a design that can outrun the fastest of sections or destroy the lip with equal comfort. While not a one-trick pony, the Comet is the tool to use to rip apart steeper or punchier surf, and is a must-have in anyone’s quiver.
