The Von Simmons is a board that was designed with the Simmons influence in mind. Bob Simmons, a board builder /designer from San Diego in the 1940s and 50s made a reputation of making boards that generated great amounts of speed from surface area.
Surfboard Design Details
The Von Simmons is a moderized version of Bob's concepts. Surface area,volume, and a single hull concave creates a unique planning machine that
takes you on different lines than the modern surfboard.
This is a "go have fun surfboard" when you want a break from the regular routine.
Suggested to be made 5" shorter than your normal board.
